Chinese doctors historically identified what western medicine is now calls "somatic illnesses" as imbalance in your body, or between Yin and Yang forces Chinese practitioners identify 5 body types: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.
In Western world these body types , both Male & Female, are called: Ectomorph, Mesomorph, and Endomorph.

This classification will describe not only how you look, but how and what you should eat, drink, how you should dress (warm clothes, thin, etc.), how much water you should intake, and more.
In order to feel well you need to balance your body. Typically, if you live in the West, or US, it means you need to balance poor food and chemicals that you digest with processed and industrially manufactured foods. What you see outside on your body is nothing but manifestations of impureness inside.
